Mercedes celebrates triple premiere in Asia: Tokyo – Mercedes-Benz is presenting three new models for the first time in Asia at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show. Featuring around a dozen pioneering innovations, the new S-Class is the benchmark for future passenger car developments, boasting an unparalleled level of safety as well as an exemplary degree of comfort. Other new products which Mercedes-Benz is unveiling to the Japanese public for the first time are the short-wheelbase version of the R-Class and a hybrid vehicle based on the new S-Class which features an alternative drive system for the near future. At the same time Mercedes-Benz is presenting the B-Class Compact Sports Tourer to the Japanese public for the first time.
