Emil Jellinek becomes Daimler salesman

    Businessman Emil Jellinek, who has residences in Baden (near Vienna) and Nice, takes delivery of his first Daimler automobile, which he had ordered on an earlier visit to Cannstatt. Not long after, he establishes himself as a salesman of Daimler cars and urges Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft to develop ever faster and more powerful cars.

This purchase brought the decisive contact to Gottlieb Daimler and thus to Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft with regard to further successful business relations.
