    The first-generation anti-lock braking system (ABS) for passenger cars, developed in partnership with Teldix, is presented to the press in Untertürkheim.

A car with the anti-lock braking system keeps to its precise line when braking on a bend. Without the anti-lock braking system, the car becomes difficult to control if excessive pressure is applied to the brake pedal.
