Daimler-Benz initiates PROMETHEUS research program

The PROMETHEUS research project ("Programme for a European Transport System of Highest Efficiency and Unrivalled Safety"), initiated by Daimler-Benz and aimed at outlining new perspectives for the traffic of the future, is launched as part of the European EUREKA research initiative in which 14 European automotive manufacturers participate.
