Urban bus: Citaro with BlueTec meets Euro 5 standard

The Mercedes-Benz Bus and Coach unit delivers the first seven Mercedes-Benz Citaro urban regular service buses with 205 kW / 279 hp horizontally installed OM 906h LA Euro 5 turbodiesel engines – long before the entry into force of the statutory Euro 5 EU emission regulation in 2008/2009. The Citaro complies with the strict EU 5 limits thanks to innovative BlueTec technology with AdBlue injection and selective catalytic reduction (SCR).
