The 16/50 hp was another newly constructed vehicle: Its six cylinders were united in two groups with three cylinders respectively. It had a displacement of 4,160 cc. The 16/50 hp together with the 4-cylinder 10/30 hp was the most important model in the Benz car range up to the merger with the Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft in 1926.
A small 6-cylinder vehicle, the 10/40 hp, was less successful and was only produced from 1923 to 1925.
