DaimlerChrysler takes over plant in Graz

DaimlerChrysler and Magna announce that DaimlerChrysler will acquire the shares in Eurostar Automobilwerk GmbH & Co. KG based in Graz, Austria, from Steyr-Daimler-Puch Fahrzeugtechnik (SFT), as of March 1998 a majority holding of Magna International Inc. Established as a joint venture between the Chrysler Corporation and SFT, the Eurostar plant produces the Chrysler Voyager MPV from October 1991.
