First motorized trolley car from Daimler

    Gottlieb Daimler demonstrates his "Rems” motorboat on Lake Waldsee near Baden-Baden. By this time, three boats powered by Daimler engines had already been built. Following this successful demonstration, Daimler invites his guests to the train station, where he presents his motorised trolley-car – also driven by an air-cooled, high-speed single-cylinder engine.
In Baden-Baden, Gottlieb Daimler presents his motorized trolley-car to the public in 1887. At the front, on the right, is Daimler; at the back, on the left, is Maybach.
