Toll Collect collects truck tolls

Toll Collect GmbH, formed as a joint venture of Deutsche Telekom, DaimlerChrysler AG and France's Cofiroute in March 2002, receives a special preliminary operating permit for satellite-based toll collection from the German Federal Office for Freight Transport following a successful trial operation phase. Electronic toll collection for trucks over 12 tonnes in Germany starts on 1 January 2005.
