Production under licence of the O 303 coach in the Soviet Union

In Moscow, Mercedes-Benz AG and the Soviet bus manufacturer AVTROKON sign contracts agreeing the production under licence of the O 303 coach in the Soviet Union. The first coaches are scheduled for assembly as early as 1991 at the Golitsyno plant outside Moscow. The annual production target is set at 2,500 units.
