    In Zolder, Belgium, in the penultimate event of the truck-racing season, Axel Hegmann in a Mercedes-Benz 1733 S wins both Class A runs to capture the drivers' European Championship title. In Class C Steve Parrish in a 1450 LS wins both runs.
