Premiere at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show: E-Class Convertible

  • Date
    16 - 24 January 2010
  • Description

The E-Class Convertible (207 series) celebrates its world premiere at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Michigan/USA. A high level of comfort and all-year-round practicality are guaranteed by such innovative optional features as the AIRCAP draught-stop, which can be activated at the touch of a button and which significantly reduces air turbulence in the car's interior for all four occupants when the roof is open. The E-Class Convertible's optional equipment also includes an enhanced AIRSCARF neck-level heating system integrated into the backrests of the front seats, which blows warm air out of adjustable outlets in the head restraints. Mercedes-Benz also unveils at Detroit an aesthetic automotive sculpture, which rises in gentle and flowing form from a level surface, thereby artistically accentuating the car's lines.
