- Description: The first Daimler engine designed for the Graf Zeppelin airship is delivered. The 4.4-litre four-cylinder all-alloy engine (model N) delivers 15 hp / 11 kW at 700 rpm. Powered by two Daimler engines, the LZ 1 airship takes off on its maiden flight on 2 July 1900.
