Cooperation with Diesel Technology Corporation

Mercedes-Benz AG and the US company Diesel Technology Corporation (DTC) agree the joint development and production of an electronic injection system for commercial vehicle diesel engines. The goal is to meet the stringent American emission standards scheduled to take effect in 1994 and 1998, while getting the lowest possible fuel consumption. DTC, a subsidiary of Penske Transportation, is a manufacturer of diesel injection systems.
