Electric drive in practical testing on Rügen

A large-scale project supported by the German Ministry of Research and Technology and involving practical testing of the latest-generation electrically-powered vehicles gets underway in Binz on the island of Rügen. Mercedes-Benz supplies 20 vehicles for the tests, of which ten are based on the 190 car model and ten on the MB 100 D van model.
