DaimlerChrysler holds majority stake in Ilmor Engineering

DaimlerChrysler AG announces it is acquiring a further 30 % stake in Ilmor Engineering Ltd. in Brixworth, Northamptonshire/UK. DaimlerChrysler will thus increase its share from currently 25 % to a total of 55 % and become majority owner effective 31 October 2002. Mario Illien, Liz Morgan, widow of company co-founder Paul Morgan, and Roger Penske then hold a 15 % stake each.
