Cooperation with Hyundai in commercial vehicle engines

DaimlerChrysler and Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) agree on the foundation of a joint-venture company for the production of commercial vehicle diesel engines. Production of Mercedes-Benz diesel units from the OM 900 engine family is planned. This project is the first concrete step towards cooperation with Hyundai in the commercial vehicle sector.
