Formula One: Hamilton runner-up

At the last event of the season, the Brazilian Grand Prix in Interlagos, in a race that can hardly be surpassed for excitement and suspense, Lewis Hamilton drives his McLaren-Mercedes MP4-22 to seventh place and in so doing finishes runner-up in the drivers' championship – one point behind Kimi Räikkönen in a Ferrari and ahead of his teammate Fernando Alonso.
