L. G. Hornsted sets two world records at the Brooklands race track near Weybridge, UK, at the wheel of a modified version of the 200 hp Benz "Blitzen Benz". He covers the half mile from a standing start at an average speed of 113.8 km/h, and the one kilometre at 118.8 km/h.
