Fokker bailout fails

The Supervisory Board of Daimler-Benz AG approves the recommendation of the Board of Management to discontinue financial support for Dasa subsidiary Fokker following the failure of talks with the Dutch government on the future of the financially stricken aircraft manufacturer.
