Despite the reduced exterior dimensions compared to the predecessor model, the interior length has increased by 17 millimetres to a total of 1978 millimetres, and even to 2098 millimetres for the Saloon with long wheelbase - 37 millimetres more than the predecessor model. With a total of 1503 millimetres, the front passengers have up to 20 millimetres more shoulder room than other top-of-the-range saloons.
