Ground-breaking ceremony for new stamping facility in Kuppenheim

    Dignitaries from the world of politics and industry join the Minister President of Baden-Württemberg Günther Oettinger at Kuppenheim for a ground-breaking ceremony to mark the start of construction of a new Mercedes-Benz press shop, to be affiliated to the Gaggenau plant. Daimler AG has invested € 70 million in the new production facility on this 156,000 sq m site, which will produce exterior panels for Mercedes-Benz trucks and for the next generation of A-Class and B-Class passenger cars from late 2010.
