Debut for Econic with gas drive

At the BedrijfsautoRAI international commercial vehicle show in Amsterdam, the Mercedes-Benz Econic 1828 NGT with environment-friendly gas drive debuts as a semitrailer tractor for urban use and light short-radius distribution work. Other new products include two exclusively designed and lavishly equipped special models: the Actros "Truck ‘n’ Roll Edition" based on an Actros 2660 LS three-axle 6x4 semitrailer tractor, and the Viano X-CLUSIVE in its production version with V6 engine, specially developed bumpers with integrated spoilers and a luxurious interior. On show is also the Sprinter 316 NGT, the natural gas variant of the successful van, scheduled for launch in 2008.
