Daimler Trucks North America opens truck production plant in Saltillo, Mexico

A new truck plant for Daimler Trucks North America LLC (DTNA) is officially opened in Saltillo in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila in the presence of Mexico's President Felipe Calderón. The site's facilities, created for the production of Freightliner's heavy-duty Cascadia truck, cover an area of more than 120,000 sq m, and along with the production plant itself include a logistics centre, administration building and a training centre.
