    Paul Di Resta is the 2010 DTM champion. The Scot, in his AMG-Mercedes C-Class, takes second place in the eleventh and last race of the 2010 DTM in Shanghai, China, to win the title with a total of 71 points. This is the first DTM title for Di Resta, having finished runner-up in 2008. For Mercedes-Benz, Di Resta's title is the tenth drivers' title since the company started racing in the DTM in 1988. To date, Bernd Schneider has held the championship title six times, Klaus Ludwig twice and Gary Paffett once.
