As part of an eco-training event, Mercedes-Benz presents to the press the new BlueEFFICIENCY-package for the Sprinter. The efficiency package in the diesel models includes a new ECO start/stop function to optimise fuel consumption and reduce emissions, in addition to the new four-cylinder engines and six-speed ECO Gear transmission. The BlueEFFICIENCY badge is also worn by the particularly economical natural gas powered Sprinter NGT, which is remarkable for its significantly reduced exhaust and noise emissions.
