Unimog presented at agricultural show

The Unimog is unveiled to the public in Frankfurt am Main at the first agricultural show organised by the German Agricultural Society (DLG) since the war. Series production starts up in February 1949. The diesel engine of the Unimog comes from Mercedes-Benz and is based on the 1.7-litre four-cylinder, also used in the new 170 D diesel passenger car from May 1949.
