Presentation of new A-Class to press

    On the club ship AIDA-aura in Greece, Mercedes-Benz presents the new A-Class from the 169 series to the press for the first time. The second generation of the innovative compact vehicle is available as a four-door saloon and two-door coupé. DaimlerChrysler has invested € 900 million in expanding the Rastatt plant where the A-Class is built, creating 1,600 new jobs.

Model Range: The model range of the new A-Class includes two body versions, each with its own distinct character: In addition to the versatile four-door hatchback, Mercedes-Benz is now offering a two-door hatchback in this model range, a car with an amazingly sporty, youthful look. For both variants, there will be seven engines and three design / equipment lines to choose from: CLASSIC, ELEGANCE and AVANTGARDE.
