MDC Power GmbH becomes wholly owned subsidiary

DaimlerChrysler AG acquires Mitsubishi Motors Corporation`s 50 % stake in MDC Power GmbH. Founded as a joint venture in October 2001, the company that operates the engine plant in Kölleda, Thuringia, thus becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler.
