Natural-gas prototype Sprinter goes to test customers

rhenag Rheinische Energie AG in Cologne and Hermes Versand Service, a parcel delivery firm, receive the first prototypes of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter modified for natural gas operation and begin practical testing in everyday conditions. Equipped with the innovative sequential gas technology, the Sprinter has a range of around 250 km with six gas cylinders arranged underfloor.
