World first: synthetic diesel fuel

At its environmental press conference in Stuttgart, DaimlerChrysler AG presents the world's first synthetic diesel fuel which has no impact on the CO2 balance in the atmosphere during driving. Derived from the complete use of organic substances, the fuel releases the same amount of carbon dioxide upon combustion in the engine as is taken from the air during plant growth.
