    Edgar Ladenburg's Benz clinches victory in the overall classification of the third and last Herkomer Challenge, his second victory making him the outright winner of the Herkomer Trophy. Ladenburg's touring car is driven by Benz's racing manager, Fritz Erle, in the 1,819-km race through Saxony and southern Germany.
