    The 18/80 hp Mercedes-Benz Nürburg 460 (W 08) makes its debut appearance at the Paris Motor Show as the first Mercedes-Benz passenger car equipped with an eight-cylinder in-line engine.
Mercedes-Benz 18/80 hp Nürburg 460 K (W 08), Cabriolet D. The 460 K has a 240 mm shorter wheelbase than the 460, which is indicated by the designation "K". In the twenties, the "K" is always the term for a shorter version of a type and not the reference to a compressor. The vehicle is powered by the 4.6-litre eight-cylinder engine with 80 hp / 59 kW, the first standard eight-cylinder engine at Mercedes-Benz. Built between 1928 and 1929.
