Short-time work ends early at the Rastatt and Bremen plants

Following the ending of short-timing working at the Mercedes-Benz plants at Sindelfingen and Untertürkheim in early January and April respectively, normal working hours are now also resumed earlier than planned at both Rastatt and Bremen. Thanks to the ongoing recovery of the global market for premium vehicles, early discontinuation of the collectively agreed reduction of 8.75 % in working hours also proves possible at the end of May. Introduced in May 2009, these cutbacks applied to all Daimler AG employees not affected by short-time working arrangements.
