Worldwide practical testing of fuel cell

    DaimlerChrysler AG presents two new vehicles with fuel cell drives to members of the press gathered at corporate headquarters in Stuttgart-Möhringen. Starting in 2003 the Mercedes-Benz F-Cell, based on the A-Class, will be practically tested by customers in a fleet of 60 vehicles as part of an international cooperation in Europe, the USA, Japan and Singapore. In addition, testing of fuel cell buses based on the Mercedes-Benz Citaro begins in 2003. They will do service in demanding daily regular operation as part of the CUTE and ECTOS projects at transit companies in ten major European cities.
