Mercedes-Benz 190 Dc with two-litre four-cylinder OM 621 pre-chamber diesel engine and 55 hp/40 kW. Of the 190 Dc, 223,820 saloons were built between April 1961 and August 1964. Until then, this is the most built Mercedes-Benz diesel passenger car. On 8 April 1965, General Director Walter Hitzinger celebrates the production line of the 500,000 diesel passenger car from Mercedes-Benz at the Sindelfingen plant.
