Benz builds four-cylinder diesel for trucks

The Board of Management of Benz & Cie. in Mannheim gives the go-ahead for series production of the OB 2 four-cylinder pre-chamber diesel engine. The first units are ready for use by the end of August. The OB 2 is the first series-produced diesel engine for commercial vehicles.
