Daimler-Benz makes aeroengines in Genshagen near Berlin

    The subsidiary company Daimler-Benz Motoren GmbH is established and begins construction of an aircraft engine plant in Genshagen, south of Berlin. Almost all of the buildings are completed by the end of the year. Series production of the DB 600 starts up in May 1937.
