Market launch of the S 65 AMG and CL 65 AMG models

Alongside the CL 65 AMG, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the S 65 AMG also celebrates its premiere at Mercedes-Benz sales partners and service centres. The two models are powered by a 450 kW / 612 hp 6-litre biturbo V12 unit from the M 275 engine series.

V12 spark-ignition engine M 275, 3 valves per cylinder, 5980 cc, 450 kW/612 hp, with 1000 newton metres of torque. AMG SPEEDSHIFT 5-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel gearshift. AMG high-performance brake system, including for example an 8-piston fixed calliper with composite brake disc measuring 390 x 36 millimetres on the front axle, lightened by an aluminium chamber.
