New commercial vehicle engine range meets EURO 1 standard

Mercedes-Benz presents a new commercial vehicle engine range under its LEV (Low Emission Vehicle) concept at the Hanover Trade Fair. These engines already meet the European EURO 1 emission standard that will come into effect in autumn 1993. The new range of low-pollution engines fitted with turbocharger and intercooler comprises the OM 401 LA V6 power plant, the OM 402 LA V8 and the OM 366 LA in-line six-cylinder.
