    The Untertürkheim plant ceases production of the 170 V and 320 passenger car models. This marks the end of series production of cars at Daimler-Benz. However, by February 1944 another 50 vehicles still get built in single-unit production. With 93,033 units, including 19,075 "Kübelwagen" variants, the 170 V is by far the most widely built Mercedes-Benz car model.
