The Sindelfingen plant begins manufacturing bicycle trailers, of which 1,150 are produced by March 1946. The Sindelfingen products of the immediate post-war period also include handcarts, fruit dryers, household items made of duralumin, electric hot plates and wooden toys.

After the end of the war, the first thing to do was to clear away the rubble, salvage building materials from the debris and resume operations on a very limited scale. Reconstruction was to take years, but as early as 1945, all sorts of things were made from materials that were still available, including hand carts, a total of 500 in 1945.
