Rastatt passenger car assembly plant inaugurated

Chancellor Dr Helmut Kohl and 500 guests of honour are present to witness the official opening of the third Mercedes-Benz passenger car assembly plant at Rastatt. In the first construction stage, painted 124 mid-series bodyshells delivered from the Sindelfingen plant undergo final assembly.
