E-Class chassis for special bodies: Binz in Lorch starts production

    Binz in Lorch, Württemberg, starts series production of lengthened chassis based on the E-Class 212 series. Unlike with the predecessor VF 211 series, Binz builds the VF 212 entirely autonomously and offers the chassis in three varying wheelbase lengths. These are no longer based on the body-in-white structures, but instead on complete assembled estates without rear seat sets or boot space floor.
