Terms of use for media of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Archives 

By receiving and using media from the holdings of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Archive, you or third parties commissioned by you accept the following conditions:

The use of media is linked to a period of three years from the date of provision. We ask you to delete the media afterwards.

The media material is released for one-time use only for the use specified in your request. The use of the media offered is granted exclusively to end customers. All texts, images, graphics, sound files, video files, and animation files as well as their arrangements are subject to copyright and other for the protection of intellectual property. They may only be used for editorial reporting but not for advertising and trading purposes. The distribution, copying, editing and use on websites, in other film productions, printed works or digital media that do not serve editorial reporting, by agencies or similar institutions, is prohibited without written permission. Use of the media in Social Media by uploading, linking or by means of other technical procedures is prohibited.

The Mercedes-Benz Classic Archives shall be indemnified against all claims that may be asserted on account of the use of the material. They do not guarantee the accuracy of the contemporary documentary content of the ownership of any intellectual property rights. However, elements displayed in the content, such as identifiable persons, logos, and trademarks, may be subject to additional copyright, proprietary rights, personal rights, trademark rights and so on. The consent of a third party or the licence of these rights may be required in particular for commercial applications.

When using media, you are required to cite Mercedes-Benz Classic as the source and to provide us with the specimen copy.

We reserve the right to revoke the granted rights of use at any time.

Place of jurisdiction, severability clause

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall be deemed to be agreed, even in the case of deliveries abroad.

Ancillary agreements to these terms of use must be made in writing to be effective.

The place of performance and jurisdiction is, as far as legally permissible, the registered office of the respective rights holder. As far as permissible, Stuttgart is agreed as the place of jurisdiction.

The potential invalidity or ineffectiveness of one or more provisions of these terms of use shall not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions. The parties undertake to replace the invalid provision with a valid provision that comes closest in economic and legal terms to the intended provision.
