Per Wiktor Widengren

The son of a wealthy businessman, this Swede from Vingåker, not far from Örebro, was a successful private driver in the first half of the 1930s, among other things at the wheel of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Primarily on the road in Scandinavia, he won an ice race in Örebro, Sweden, in 1931, for example, as well as the International Track Races of Finland and Sweden. The following year, he crossed the finish line first in another track race in Finland and came fourth in the Swedish Grand Prix, both in a Mercedes-Benz SSK. In 1936, he retired from motorsport to become more involved in the family business in Vingåker.
