Motoren aus dem Werk Mannheim - At their Mannheim plant, Daimler-Benz produces diesel engines from the 300 and 400 range which are extremely economical.
The carefully worked out programme offers engines from 53 kW (72 HP) to 404 kW (550 HP) which as wll as being installed in Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles can also be used as inustrial engines or ship engines.
The 300 range consists of a 4 Cylinder and two 6 cylinder engies with outputs of from 53 kW (72 HP) to 124 kW (168 HP) one of which is spuercharged.
The 400 range starts wiht a horizontal 6 cylinder in-line engine and includes varoius 6-8-10 and 12 cylinder V-formation engines (180 - 550 HP), some of which have a supercharger and intercooling.
