Daimler-Benz continued its efforts to create humane workplaces. Especially in the design of new production facilities, both the external working conditions and the work structures are improved. The photo shows an example when installing the front springs (123 series sedan): A special assembly trolley makes the work easier; the front springs are installed with the help of hydraulic spring tensioners, which are suspended to relieve weight.
