    Mercedes-Benz SL 350, model series 230. The M 272 is a V6 four-valve engine with a displacement of 2.5 to 3.5 litres and a cylinder bank angle of 90°. It is used in various model series and performance levels from 2004. In the SL 350, it replaced the 3.7-litre three-valve predecessor engine M 112 with the 2006 facelift. The SL 350 now has 3.5 litres and an output of 200 kW/272 hp. With the 2008 facelift, the figure is 232 kW/316 hp under the designation "Sport".
