Mercedes 28/95 hp racing car, 1921
Touring car designed for maximum performance

This car was DMG's "flagship" from 1914 to 1924 and laid the foundation of the high reputation of the great Mercedes-Benz sports cars. In the early twenties, its engine was used as a test carrier for the supercharger with which it won the over 4.5 l production car class in the 1922 Targa Florio, piloted by Max Sailer who had already won the production car category with the natural aspirated 28/95 hp car in the 1921 event.
